Parents or legal guardians, who reside in Morristown or  Morris Township may register their child in the Morris School District for grades Pre-K through 12.  Parents or legal guardians who reside in Morris Plains may register a student for Morristown High School grades 9 through 12.

All children transferring to a Morris School District School from out of state/out of country are required to show proof at at least 1 dose of all required vaccines before being allowed to begin school including TB testing when applicable. 
All children transferring to a Morris School District School from in state are required to show a complete set of immunizations before being allowed to begin school.
We are happy to announce that we now use an online school registration system.   To register a new student in the Morris School District, you will need to complete information online, and then come in person to the District Registrar to complete the registration.

 For your in-person registration, please bring the following documents:  

  • Student's birth certificate or passport with raised seal;
  • Picture ID of parent/court ordered legal guardian;
  • Any additional proof of residency if you did not upload it to the online system
