Facility Use
Use of District Facilities
The members of the Morris School District Board of Education recognize that the district facilities represent the largest jointly owned resource in the community. As such, they direct the administration to protect and properly maintain these assets. Additionally, they believe that these assets need to be made available to members of the community for their use beyond the school day.
Serving as a community resource is the best way to maximize the return on the investment the residents have made in our schools and fields. As such, we welcome community members or organizations to utilize our school facilities when they are not in use by the instruction/extracurricular programs.
The Board of Education has policies and regulations that govern the use of district facilities; anyone wishing to utilize district facilities agree to abide by these policies. Listed below are a few of the more pertinent polices for your quick reference:

- 5300 - Automated External Defibrillators (AED)
- 2431.4 - Prevention and Treatment of Sports Related Concussion and Head Injuries

The bid process will begin on the above date, time and location by Anthony Lo Franco, Business Administrator/Board Secretary, or designee. No bids shall be received after the time designated in the advertisement. (N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(b)). The Board of Education does not accept electronic (e-mail) submission of bids.
“Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.”
Failure to comply with Instructions to Bidders and to complete and submit all required forms, may be cause for disqualification and rejection of the bid.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), 18A:18A-4(a), 18A:18A-22, and to waive any informalities.
