The State Department of Education has developed progress targets to measure the performance of sub-categories of students in all schools in New Jersey. These progress targets measure the growth of the school and each subgroup from 2011 to 2016.
According to the 2012 Progress Targets Profile report all six of our subgroups successfully met or exceeded the state’s progress target in mathematics. In Language Arts, five out of six subgroups successfully achieved the state’s progress target. We are extremely proud of our students’ achievements and have designed Building Goals and a ProgressTarget Action Plan to help ensure all Thomas Jefferson students and subgroups meet or exceed progress targets in all content areas.
