Substitute Information

The Morris School District is currently seeking qualified candidates for the Substitute Teacher position. We highly value this position and recognize its importance in supporting teaching and staff coverage needs.

To become a substitute in our district, you must have one of the following:

  • A valid NJ Teaching Certification, or

  • A valid Substitute Credential issued by the NJ Department of Education (required for substitute teachers and nurses)

Individuals who are recommended for the position will be required to complete our onboarding process prior to Board approval.
