Welcome to the 2018-19 school year! Thomas Jefferson School is the home of the T.J. Titans where we live by our motto: “knowledge is power.” Our school has a rich tradition of high academic achievement and is committed to educating the whole child in a safe and nurturing environment. Our dedicated and talented teaching staff and personnel are committed to providing an intellectually challenging environment that will empower students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers and caring citizens prepared to thrive in the twenty-first century.
A great contributor to the school’s success is the ongoing support from our parents. We believe that a strong partnership is critical in establishing a lasting foundation in a child’s education. Therefore, we continue to work hand in hand with our PTO to provide our students with a variety of enriching opportunities.
As we open the doors to another dynamic school year, I am looking forward to working together with our Thomas Jefferson Community.
We strive to be PROUD by becoming……
Positive influences in our world
Respectful and responsible citizens
Outstanding academic scholars
United with all to build strong character
Developing our own unique talents and love for learning
“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character …that is the goal of true education.” Martin Luther King Jr.
