Interdistrict School Choice

Dear Parents,

New Jersey’s Interdistrict School Choice program is designed to expand educational opportunities for students and their families by providing the option for students to attend a public school outside their district of residence. The Morris School District is proud to be among New Jersey’s “Choice” districts. As such, students from other school districts may apply to attend school in the Morris School District at no cost to the students’ families.

There are several steps and procedures you must follow if you are interested in having your child participate in the NJ Interdistrict School Choice program for the 2013-2104 school year. Specific information regarding these steps, application procedures, and timelines are available on the NJ Department of Education website, at www.state.nj.us/education/choice/distapp/timeline.htm
