If your child is entering school for the first time the school nurse must have a report of a physical examination that has been completed within the calendar year before starting school. The preferred form to use is the Universal Child Health Record. It is helpful for a parent to speak to a school nurse at the time of registration. The nurse will review the child's health records and inform the parent if additional information and/or documentation is needed.
After the school has reviewed the required documents, parents of students in kindergarten through fifth grade will be scheduled for an appointment in the Board of Education Registrar's office to complete the registration process. Parents of students registering for grades 6-8 will be directed to Frelinghuysen Middle School to complete the registration process and students in grades 9-12 will be directed to Morristown High School to complete the process.
