EXPENSES
The Board of Education recognizes that the Board Member’s attendance at professional conferences, meetings and other events where attendance is associated with the member’s position, is of benefit to the school district. Although Board Members receive no payment for their services, they shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses associated with attendance at such functions as designated in the regulations provided to implement this policy. Such expenses shall be for the Board Member only. All expenses shall be itemized and documented with original receipts. Any exceptions to the reimbursement policy must be reviewed by the full Board before reimbursement is authorized.
