LIVE ANIMALS IN THE CLASSROOM
Biology, being the study of life, can require the utilization of living plants and animals. The Board of Education encourages and supports teachers in the proper use of living animals in the classroom. However, the use of living animals in the classroom entails a serious responsibility. Pupils and teachers are obliged to handle living animals humanely and kindly in conformity with the regulations devised by the Superintendent.
