Actions which flout the law and/or use disruptive devices to express protest or enforce demands for redress of grievances cannot be permitted. It is unanimously agreed by this board that neither violence, disruption, vandalism nor seizure of buildings can be permitted under any circumstances.
The following actions shall be taken by the superintendent assisted by other members of the professional staff whenever the occasion demands:
- The offender will be advised personally that he/she is out of order and the police will be called.
- The offender will be given direction as to what is expected and will be told of the consequences should he/she fail to comply.
- The person will be escorted off the property by the police.
- All members of the Board of Education and the board attorney will be notified.
- A complaint against the offender will be filed by the appropriate party, either the district or the police.
