The Board of Education negotiates salary and other conditions of employment with its staff under requirements and subject to the limitations set forth in New Jersey statutes.

This legislation requires Boards of Education to:
  1. Recognize and negotiate with duly chosen employee associations on topics required by law;

  2. Enter into written agreement with such local associations.
