NONCERTIFIED PERSONNEL
The Board of Education considers its personnel who serve as secretaries, cafeteria workers, custodians, maintenance staff, and in other noncertified positions not otherwise covered in 4100 vital to the smooth functioning of the school system. All noncertified positions in the school system shall be established initially by the Board of Education. In each case, the Board of Education will approve the broad purpose and the function of the position as recommended by the Superintendent or his/her designee and delegate to him/her the task of writing, or causing to be written, a job description covering qualifications, duties and other details pertaining to the position. The Director of Human Resources shall maintain a coordinated set of job descriptions for all noncertified positions in the school system and shall be responsible for establishing evaluation criteria. He/she shall also develop the process for the evaluation.
