School employees shall not engage in outside activities or perform any services other than those
assigned by the district during the hours of the prescribed school day.
Personnel may be employed in work or activities outside of their regular school job as long as it
does not interfere with their efficiency and the performance of their regular duties and school
equipment, materials and other property is not used.
In order to avoid conflict of interest, staff members must obtain Board of Education permission to
act as extracurricular advisers or coaches for another school district.
