SOLICITING AND SELLING
School employees shall not use school facilities or materials on school time in connection with any personal activity for financial profit. Nonschool time is permitted under the terms and conditions of Use of School Facilities policy 1330. Solicitation of fellow employees during working hours, either for contributions or membership drives, must be approved by the Superintendent. Trips or programs organized by individual staff members shall not be publicized as school-related activities. Released time from school will not be granted for planning or taking part in such trips or programs. In promoting any such trips or programs, organizing staff members must clearly inform parents/guardians that these are not district-sponsored or authorized activities.
