RESIGNATION
A teaching staff member (as defined in Policies 4111 and 4211) or administrator whether tenured or non-tenured, shall give the Board of Education 60 days’ written notice of his/her intention to resign. All resignations shall be directed to the Board of Education through the Superintendent’s office. The Board of Education shall not release an individual from his/her contract in less than 60 days following the receipt of a written resignation except by specific Board of Education action. The resignation becomes effective after formal Board of Education approval.
