OFFICIAL ADOPTION BY VOTERS: APPEALS

If a majority of the voters reject the tax levy or any section of it, the Board of Education shall deliver the proposed school budget to the municipal governing bodies within two days thereafter. The governing bodies shall certify the amounts required to the county Board of Taxation.

In the event the Board of Education disagrees with the town council and the township committee's determination, the Board of Education shall determine whether or not to appeal to the commissioner.
