The building Principal, the Superintendent and the Board shall approve all fund-raising activities.
When students are involved in fund-raising, the building Principal and the Superintendent shall
review the activities which will be used to raise the funds as well as the proposed use of the funds
prior to the initiation of any activity. The Superintendent shall inform the Board so that it may act
appropriately.
Children are not to be asked to solicit funds “door to door.”
Groups or clubs organizing fund-raising events for approved activities benefiting the schools shall be allowed to use school facilities to organize their fund-raising activities. These activities shall be considered district-sponsored events in determining the priority of claim for the use of school
facilities.
