GIFTS FROM COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
The Board of Education appreciates the efforts of community groups or clubs that contribute funds, materials, or equipment for district-approved activities, or for recognition of pupil achievement. Because the Board of Education is concerned with the safety of our students, all proposed gifts of material or equipment must be approved by the Superintendent and the Board of Education. The Superintendent and the Board must consider not only the safety of the gift or gifts, but also their educational impact and future costs (if any) related to the maintenance and use of the proposed gift or gifts.
