Tickets will be available at the door on Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17 for Morristown High School's production of the Pulitzer Prize winning play, You Can't Take It with You. Curtain time is set for 8:00 PM in the high school auditorium, 50 Early Street, Morristown.
This classic comedy was the basis for the Academy Award winning film starring James Stewart, Jean Arthur and Lionel Barrymore. Written by George Kaufman, the play exposes the zany goings-on of the Vanderhoof/Sycamore family. Headed by patriarch Grandpa Vanderhoof, the eccentric family includes his daughter, Penny, and her husband Paul Sycamore, who manufactures fireworks in the basement of the family's sprawling New York City home. Their daughter, Essie, a would-be ballerina, her xylophone-playing husband Ed, and her Russian ballet instructor, Boris contribute to the unusual dynamics and peculiar activities of the family.
