FMS Announcements

  • FMS/HSA After School Spring Clubs
    Begin this week (except Flag Football) and run for 6 weeks. Students in clubs may take the 4:00 bus home or be picked up by a parent/guardian. Confirmations were emailed to parents/guardians.
    You can register through Friday, May 10th by going to the FMS/HSA website msdk12.schoolwires.net/fms-hsa. The cost is $30 per club. Students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade may register! 
    Tuesday - UFO Ultimate Frisbee meet in Media Center
    Tuesday - Creative Writing meet in Room 203
    Wednesday - Hip Hop Dance meet in Atrium outside the Band Room
    Thursday - The Mind Up Yoga meet in Room 108
    Thursday - The Hunger Games meet in Room 14
    Flag Football will meet on June 3, 4, 6, 11, 13, 14 only.
    Ballroom Basics has been cancelled this Spring.

  • Attention Parents:
    It was brought to my attention that the hssports.net website is not accurately displaying the pending games.  In response to this I personally called the company and was told that they have a known glitch that they are working to fix.  They provided me with an alternative site www.schedulestar.com and suggested that we redirect to this site until the glitch is fixed.  To make things even easier for you I am providing a link that will direct you to the monthly view calendar that I have reviewed and can confirm that it shows every game.  Just to help with your ease of use I wanted to provide you with a few details so that you could better view this site (see the attached image for support)

  • Attention 8th Grade Families:  
    If you have a family member who will be attending our June 25, 2013 Recognition Ceremony at Mennen Arena, but is unable to maneuver the stairs, please send an email to Mrs. Bozza at amy.bozza@msdk12.net by June 14th and she will arrange privileged seating for that person and one other member of the family.  Thank you.

Upcoming Events

  • If your child is in 8th grade now and will NOT BE going to MHS, please let guidance know ASAP and come into sign your student out.
     
    If you have a 6th or 7th grader that is not returning to FMS in Sept. Please come into the Guidance office and sign your child out. Please contact Guidance to let them know where your child will be going.  The deadline will be June 20th.
